Riders are to obey ALL road rules and Police instructions
A.S.A. bike helmets to be worn and all bikes shall be roadworthy

Riders to carry spare tubes and pumps to repair punctures. Assistance is available to people who have difficulties but every effort should be made to be self sufficient.
Riders who pass the lead car are no longer covered by the insurance provisions of the event.
Do NOT follow a vehicle within five metres or have anything (eg food) handed to you from a moving vehicle
Use hand signals when turning and keep one hand on the handlebars at all times
Conventional road and mountain bikes only permitted (Tandems by prior negotioation with the organisers) Bunches of more than 20 must break up into smaller groups
Riders must carry their registration ID or reciept/
No night riding is allowed. If riders are late back to Shepparton they will be picked up by the recovery vehicle - no lights should need to be carried.
No private vehicles are to follow riders

Riders are encouraged to carry a mobile phone - Next G coverage is good along most of the ride.
